2025: A Year of Records in Digital Exports
Turkey reaped the fruits of its 'Far Countries Strategy' and digitalization incentives in 2025. According to Ministry of Trade data, the $8 Billion threshold targeted at the beginning of the year was exceeded, reaching $8.15 Billion.
Outstanding Achievements
Especially SME participation in the e-export ecosystem increased by 40% this year. Thanks to logistical conveniences in 'Micro Export' regulations, cross-border sales by producers in Anatolia accounted for 35% of the total volume.
Market Diversity
In addition to the traditional European market, demand for Turkish textile and cosmetic products increased by 60% in South Korea and Brazil markets. Driven by Turkish series, searches for 'Made in Turkiye' peaked in the Latin American market.
2026 Expectations
The Ministry revised its e-export target for 2026 to $11 Billion. The focus will be on 'AI-Supported Logistics' and 'Blockchain-Based Customs Clearance'.
